Help Our Grandpa Rebuild His Life After Texas Flood

We are Harold Sherwoods grandchildren, Tammera and Andrea. Our grandpa is a survivor of the Texas Floods that recently raged through wreaking merciless devastation. We're asking for help to get our grandpa, Harry, who is in his late 70's, a vetran, retired, and has certain serious health conditions, back on his feet. Whether he chooses to rebuild or move, it'll still be a challenge. We're grateful to still have Harry with us today. That almost wasn't the case. Our grandpa barely made it to safety as the water suddenly rose waist high in the middle of the night. Taking away everything he had including all his medications. This was Harry's home full of so much history and family memories. This house in different ways was very special to all of us. The most special and important of all, Harry is here. Nothing remains now but the carnage left by an unforgiving flood, the memories we'll always carry in our hearts, and helping our grandpa to either build or find his new home.

*A used camper has been donated as temporary housing. People are saying Harry has a new camper. He does not. It is a very used camper, which he is greatful for. A home, vehicle, and medication is still needed. Which is the goal of this gofundme.

Where do his 8 great grandchildren sleep when they come to visit? Where do they play with grandpa? Where do they build pillow forts and blanket tents? Hide around the corner waiting to shout, Boo! No where. There's no home to.

How will the great grandchildren with autism visit grandpa? They won't. There's no home to visit and they're specific needs won't be met.

How will the great grandkids ride around with grandpa? Go for those special car rides we all have of our own? They won't, he lost his vehicles.
