Help my great-uncle rebuild after a recent crisis
Donation protected
My name is Manpreet, I’m from the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County, and I’m reaching out to support an extraordinary man who has been deeply affected by a recent crisis. My mom’s uncle, Darshan Singh, the only living sibling of my late grandmother, is facing significant challenges as he navigates this difficult time.
This Air Force veteran (who is in his mid-80s) has always lived a life of selflessness and generosity. A man of many talents and stories, he speaks multiple languages, carries a constant smile, and welcomes everyone with open arms.
His greatest joy was his garden. Every single day, you’d find him outside, tending to his fruit trees and plants with care. He grew so many nectarines that he’d leave piles of them on his neighbors’ porches for anyone to enjoy. Pomegranates, lemons, grapes you name it. If you passed by, he’d call you over with a warm smile and offer you something fresh from his yard.
While this crisis has disrupted his life, his generous spirit remains unshaken. Now, we are asking for your help to give back to someone who has given so much. Our goal is to raise funds to help him recover and, one day, return to the joy of gardening that brought him and his community so much happiness.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help him move forward and remind him that his kindness has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your support, prayers, and generosity.
With gratitude,
Manpreet
