Hi, we are members, we are helping to raise funds to help rebuild and save a local fishing lake, this year has been devastating for a lot of lakes and fisheries all over the country and this little slice of heaven is no different, it has been devastated by the fluctuating weather.

The constant weather changes has caused huge oxygen problems within the water and as a result a huge percentage of the lakes residents have been lost, with some of the fish residing in the lake being over 20 years old, the sheer number of fish lost has forced the lake to close while works are undertaken to firstly put measures in place so this cannot happen again and secondly bring the lake back to life with the introduction of new fish.

The lake has a rich history in the Essex fishing circuit which has been built by the owner, who has poured his heart and soul in to the lake over the last 20 years, and anybody who has ever fished the lake or knows the owner, will know exactly how dedicated this man is to making sure the lake is a perfect as it can possibly be for the fish and also its members.

We have decided not to name the lake in question, nor the owner, however the fishing world is small and majority of you will know of the lake at the very least! and will also know how much of a loving, hard working individual the owner is and that no matter how busy he may be with work, he will always take time out of his day to chat and help everyone around him, even those he doesn't know.

Lets get this lake back to where is should be, right at the very top of carp fishing in the UK!!
