After years of hard work and building a life I was proud of, everything changed when I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. What followed were seven grueling months of chemotherapy that left me physically and emotionally drained. I lost my job, my health insurance was canceled in the middle of treatment, and I suddenly found myself facing mountains of medical debt on top of the challenge of fighting for my life.
Cancer didn’t just attack my body — it unraveled the stability I had worked so hard to build. Overnight, I went from being independent and self-sufficient to relying on disability just to get by. Every day has become a balancing act between managing my health, covering basic living expenses, and trying not to drown under the weight of medical bills that never stop coming.
Surviving cancer was supposed to be the hardest part, but the truth is the financial and emotional aftermath has been just as brutal. Support from this fundraiser would mean more than words can say. Even catching up on a few bills would ease the crushing stress, give me room to breathe, and allow me to focus on healing — body, mind, and spirit.
This has been a long journey for me and , I know there is still a long road ahead. I’m asking for help not just to survive, but to rebuild — to find light at the end of this tunnel and reclaim the happiness, independence, and peace of mind that cancer tried to take from me.
