Hi, my name is Jordyn Brumbaugh, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart.
On Thursday May 15, 2025, a tornado tore through our neighborhood in Potterville, MI, leaving behind devastation we never imagined we’d experience. In just a few terrifying minutes, the home of my family of 5, along with our vehicle, was severely damaged. We are incredibly grateful that myself, my spouse, our three children, and our fur babies made it out safely—but we’ve lost so much.
We’re now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over. Our home is unlivable, our vehicle is no longer usable, and we’re trying to figure out how to provide stability for our kids in the middle of this chaos. We’re staying strong for them, but the road ahead is long and uncertain.
We’re asking for donations to help to cover:
• Temporary housing while we figure out long-term plans
• Basic necessities like clothing, food, and school supplies
• Transportation needs
• Emergency expenses and insurance gaps
Every donation—no matter the size—means the world to us. If you’re unable to give, sharing this campaign is just as powerful.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. We’re holding onto hope, and with your help, we will rebuild.
With love and gratitude,
Jordyn Brumbaugh & Family
PS: This campaign was created by my cousin, Candis Cote, to help manage the fundraising and logistics while we focus on recovery. All funds will go directly to our family’s needs.
