Help Rebuild After Tropical Storm Helene

I'm raising money for my daughter and her husband who survived devastation in Flat Rock, NC.

Hi, my name is Doug Berryhill and I live in Murfreesboro, TN. We were heading to our daughter's baby shower on Friday when we received a call no parent wants to hear. We were told they lost their home and we needed to turn back from Knoxville and head back home. We ignored the message and single-handedly witnessed total devastation in Chimney Rock, Fletcher, Asheville, and Flat Rock, NC.

On September 27, 2024, my daughter, who is 8 months pregnant, faced the unimaginable when Hurricane Helene devastated her home. She lost much of her house and both of her vehicles, leaving her and her family in a dire situation. Thankfully, they survived the storm, but their house was severely damaged and remains at risk, with large trees threatening to collapse the rest of it.

My daughter's family needs your help to rebuild her life. The damage is overwhelming, and while they have made it through the worst, they still face the constant threat of further destruction. She is doing everything she can to stay strong, but the road to recovery is long, and she can't do it alone.
