Help a Survivor Mother Rebuild After Domestic Violence, Child Abduction & Abandonment
— A Plea for Safety, Stability, and Second Chances —
Dear Friends, Kind Strangers, and Compassionate Souls,
I write to you today not just with a heavy heart, but with a fierce hope—that somewhere out there, people still care enough to reach back when someone is reaching out from rock bottom.
This is the story of my friend, a devoted single mother and her two young children—survivors of domestic violence, child abduction, and total abandonment. It is a story of unimaginable pain and treacherous path no family should go through. But it is also a story of courage, of love that never gave up, and of a mother’s unbreakable will to bring her children back home, no matter the cost.
For years, this mother was the heartbeat of her family—raising her children with patience, compassion, and dedication. But she was faced with the worst nightmare and it reached its darkest point when her children were abducted and taken across state lines—held in isolation, silenced by fear, and separated from the only person who ever made them feel safe.
She didn’t stop fighting. Not for a day. She navigated multiple court systems, drained every resource she had, and faced trauma after trauma— all in her relentless effort to bring her children home.
She won. But victory came at a terrible price.
Now in the aftermath of a bitter and ongoing divorce, the emotional toll on these young children is profound. They have witnessed things no child ever should—trauma, separation, fear—and they are doing their best to heal from deep emotional wounds while clinging to the fragile sense of safety their mother is trying desperately to provide.
Today, this family is reunited, but they are not yet safe. They face overwhelming legal debts, loans taken for survival, and the crushing threat of losing their home. With no child support, no income, and the mother still unable to work due to the special needs of her children, every day is an uphill battle.
And yet, she carries on. Because that’s what devoted parents do.
But she cannot do it alone.
This is where you come in.
Your donation—no matter the amount—can help this family take their next breath with a little less fear. It will:
- Prevent foreclosure and keep a roof over their heads
- Provide food, medication, and essentials for daily survival
- Support trauma counseling for the children
- Fund ongoing legal protections to keep them safe
- Restore their faith that goodness and humanity still exist
Due to safety concerns, their identities must remain confidential. But please know: behind this message is a real family—broken but still standing—desperately trying to piece their lives back together.
If you’ve ever asked yourself, “How can I make a real difference?”—this is your answer.
Please give whatever you can. Share their story. Be the miracle they so desperately need.
With deep gratitude,
