My cousins, Ciara and Jacob and their 4-year-old son Cooper, lost their home this week to Hurricane Helene. Their house took on 7 feet of water, and everything inside has been destroyed and covered with mud. The local high school's sign ended up on their front porch!

They are going to have to start over with their house and are currently displaced and living with other family. They are thankful to have flood insurance, and they evacuated before the storm hit, so nobody is hurt. They have a very high deductible and without the funds to replace everything. They are simply the best humans on the planet and are the first people to step up to help others without expecting anything in return. I am hoping that my friends can help them out during this extremely difficult time.

**UPDATE** 9/30/24 - 

Thank you all for your incredible generosity! They are still without water, but power and limited cell service has been restored. As the floods continue to recede, the true scope of the devastation is being revealed. But soon the cleanup and rebuilding can hopefully begin.





**UPDATE - 10/3/24**

Thank you to everyone for so much generosity!!   Beyond the financial contributions, so many people have stepped in to help with clean up and removal of all of their damaged belongings.  A special shout out to Pinnacle Church!   They were able to get their basement pumped out and the drying has begun.  Ciara and family are staying with family, but nobody has running water.  Thankfully they have power, food and water.  It will be a long journey, but they wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to all of you!!   More pics from cleanup below.
