I started my business in 2009 and got overwhelmed, so I closed it and started up again in 2019. Then Covid hit, and that was all she wrote. With the encouragement of my children, I started again in 2024, but it’s really hard to focus on it and build it because I have to make sure the lights stay on and bills are paid.
I can’t put money aside to strengthen my business and may have to completely shut down again. All people do is call the police and health department when all I’m trying to do is build so I can get my commercial license. Now, I am being threatened with a court penalties. Do I need more than listed, yes but I like to work hard for what I have. Some don’t like the way I have to do it but it’s all I have right now. I sacrificed 24 years to my children, and now I want to do something that makes me happy and I enjoy and people enjoy…
