On the night of May 5th, tragedy struck Quesnel, BC. Sprout Kitchen, a vibrant shared commercial food hub, was lost to a devastating fire.

For the past few years, this space has been the foundation for small businesses, providing local entrepreneurs with the tools to create, build, and serve their community. Now, those businesses face an unimaginable reality: everything they’ve worked for—inventory, equipment, their livelihood—is gone.

Due to the nature of the shared space, the businesses operating within Sprout Kitchen were not covered by building insurance. This means they are now left to either close their doors or start over from nothing.

Sprout Kitchen has always been more than just a workspace—it has been a family. These business owners have given back to the community time and time again, and now, they need the community to stand with them.

With upcoming markets, catering events, and other commitments, they must get back on their feet quickly. Your support will provide direct financial relief to the businesses affected, helping them rebuild, recover, and continue serving Quesnel.
