Help Rebuild a Community Culinary Gem

I am Dr. Pat Bottiglieri, a retired professor from the Culinary Institute of America. One of our graduates, Chef Dimitri Salivaras, owns a restaurant, Dimitri’s on the Water, in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The restaurant was destroyed by flooding during Hurricane Helene. The restaurant is located on the Anclote River. Although insurance claims will be submitted, deductibles are high due to multiple flooding issues over the years and the cost of insurance in Florida. Please try to help Chef Dimitri; he always reaches out to others and is a great contributor to his community.

I was Chef Dimitri’s professor while he was a student. After retirement, I relocated to Florida close to Chef Dimitri. We have grown close over the years. All available funds raised will go to help defray the cost of his deductible and be applied to reopening the restaurant.
