Across the country, black business owners took a hit & many of them were ransacked and destroyed; including Queen Sheba. The amount of damages & loss of inventory is staggering & nearly impossible to recover from, especially with no coverage. In some cases black businesses have shut down for good. Please help in anyway that you can!
Much like many of us searching for the American dream, for the owners of Queen Sheba, it was the fruit and labor of 30+ years of working long hours and odd-end jobs-- to achieve this goal. Queen Sheba continues to give back to the local community church, as faith has always been at the heart of their perseverance. Moreover, as a black-owned business grown from humble beginnings, they recognized the importance of giving the same opportunity to those in the community, who have welcomed them so warmly many years ago.
To destroy black businesses is to destroy our future and everything we have worked so hard to overcome and achieve. They must be protected.
That being said: this all began because we are fed up with the amount of police officers who have murdered, and continue to murder our people in multiple cities with NO CONSEQUENCES. Never forget. & never forget them. Rest in paradise George Floyd.
Together is how we make change.
