Rebekah Grigsby was the victim of a horrible homicidal/vehicular attack this weekend.

Someone Rebekah had known and considered a friend attempted to kill another close friend of Rebekah’s by mowing the person down with a vehicle. Rebekah saw the truck minutes before it slammed into her house and realized her friend was being targeted. In a tragic, selfless act of bravery, Rebekah shoved her friend out of the path of the car, but her actions and sacrifice resulted in near death consequences for her.

Not only did her body get crushed as the vehicle slammed into the home - she was ran over a second time as the truck backed up and fled from the scene. She recounted the unimaginable event from her bed in ICU the next morning saying the perpetrator “spun his tires out on her” as he pulled away.

This sweet, young and beautiful girl is now facing surgery to remove her mangled and nearly amputated leg today, has a crushed pelvis and too many injuries to list. She has already undergone surgery to piece her pelvis back together. Rebekah will need a lot of support from the community as she mends and heals.
