Please help Rebekah Warren, our bounce-back girl, fight cancer and rebuild her life.
After losing her job, home, and health, she is now surrounding herself with family during this very difficult season, and we are humbly asking for your support.
I was only 19 years old when I first held Rebekah in my arms. I was still trying to figure out life myself, and suddenly I became a father. We grew up together. Even though I didn’t know much about being a man yet, I knew I loved that little girl; she was my whole world. She changed my life forever.
Many of you were part of those early ministry years where you witnessed Rebekah traveling with Cathy and I everywhere — from the state capitol to high school assemblies, as well as many church services, and conferences.
Recently, Rebekah was diagnosed with kidney renal failure, and doctors told her she had a week to live — words no parent is prepared to hear. Dialysis spared her kidneys, but doctors discovered a large mass pressing against them in her pelvic region. Chemotherapy has been presented as the only life-saving option. The mass is a highly treatable cancer that gives us all hope if she receives the treatment she needs immediately.
Rebekah now faces mounting medical bills with no ability to work and a long road ahead.
Every dollar given will go directly to Rebekah for medical and living expenses over the next several months while she undergoes treatment and builds back her strength.
Rebekah has always carried the name “bounce-back girl.” Her life has been one bounce after another. I have never known another more resilient, tender-hearted, and determined woman. I used to tell her, “The harder the fall, the higher the bounce.” This is the hardest fall she has ever faced, but her mother and I still believe there is another powerful bounce yet ahead, and this is it! We believe we will watch her rise again and regain her strength.
Would you consider being a part of her next bounce?
No financial gift is too small.
Please donate whatever you can. Your prayers have been sustaining her and our family more than we know.
Your financial gift we give her the time and resources for her next bounce!
From a father and mother’s heart, we thank you for standing with our daughter.
From a grateful heart,
John Paul and Cathy Warren
