At forty-five, I'm finally saying yes. The Lord kept nudging—through late-night prayers, through every 'what if' that wouldn't leave me alone. I felt a calling from God, and now I'm accepted to Houston Christian University for a ministry degree. But there's a wall: defaulted student loans from 20 years ago that I thought were taken care of. They won't let me start until it's gone, and I can't apply for financial aid until this debt is paid off.
I want to learn Scripture deeply, lead others, and serve in ways I've only dreamed of. Every dollar you give will go directly to clearing this old debt, opening the door for me to enroll and pursue my calling. I'm working hard in the restaurant industry, but it's a struggle just to keep up with normal bills, let alone pay off this unexpected barrier.
Thank you for praying, for giving, and for helping me step into what God has started in my life. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
