Hello! Please take a moment to read this message and, if you're able, consider donating and/or sharing to support this incredibly difficult situation.
Lance Nissen recently under went emergency brain surgery annd has been diagnosed with CNS lymphoma. He has been out of work and will be for several months while he does 8 very aggressive chemo cycles. They are in patient treatments which means he will be in and out of the hospital every other week. This will keep him out of work until mid summer. As a family, we are incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful, but we know there is still a long journey of treatment and healing ahead. He always been a devoted and loving family man. He is a father of 3 girls who he has supported with anything they’ve wanted to do. He has dedicated his life to his children and his family. He also volunteers as a coach for Grant township in Fox lake. He coaches his daughter joslynn’s travel ball team and is a big part of the softball community. Even after chemo he is still showing up to practice to be there for his team. He is dedicated to helping them learn and perfect their game. He is one of the hardest workers I've ever had the privilege of knowing. He’s put many people and loved ones before himself and has become the biggest teddy bear. He would give the shirt off his back quite literally if it meant a loved one was safe and had what they needed. Anyone who knows him could testify to that and confirm the kind of loving man he is. When the family found out about his condition, it struck us all like a ton of bricks. The news left us in complete shock and deep emotional turmoil. This news has caused grief and uncertainty for the future. Now only having one income trying to stay afloat AND paying for meds and probably over 10 hospital stays. Having to do treatments will keep him out of work for quite some time. The burden of not knowing the extent of this has a great cost. Though he and his family have been deeply devastated by everything he's been facing, we are all staying strong for him, united in our support and love. We pray for the outcome to be greater than the loss. He plans to fight this fight until the end. His plan is to one day be able to look back and see how far God has taken him and what his testimony could do for others.
Any support through this difficult time would be greatly appreciated!
