Help Rebecca White Through Her Cancer Journey

You never know what direction life will turn. Rebecca White is the wife of Darren, mother to Brady, Andrew and Tanner White, and the daughter-in law-of Carla White. She was diagnosed with oral cancer, and she and her family made the decision to move quickly and go to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for extensive treatment for this difficult to treat cancer. She had a first surgery on Oct. 23rd and will have a second surgery on Nov. 7th, followed by radiation treatments. Her treatment will go on for a period of months.    

The cancer is more aggressive than originally considered. The second surgery will be more invasive, and reconstruction will be required at the same time. It will be an extremely painful surgery and recovery. She has much difficulty eating, swallowing and talking. She must take all radiation treatments at the Mayo Clinic as well, so will have a long term stay after surgery recovery.

Rebecca is a 23+ year employee with The Child Development Center. She works with children with their developmental  growth and OT needs. The travel expenses, meals,  along with medical expenses associated with her treatment are extreme. Additionally she and her husband will have loss of income due to not being able to work for an undetermined period.

She and her family are still in complete shock from this unexpected event.  Rebecca is a woman of faith and believes in the power of prayer.  She also believes the Lord is her great healer.  She would appreciate your prayers also. Thank you so much!
