My name is Rebecca, and I’m facing stage 2 cervical cancer. Since March 5, 2025, I’ve been unable to work due to my diagnosis and the treatments that have followed. For the first time in my life, I’m struggling to keep up with my rent and utilities, and I’m handling this challenge on my own. The financial strain has made an already difficult time even harder, as I worry about keeping my home and staying warm and safe while I focus on my health.

I’ve worked as a nurse for 32 years, caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Now, I find myself needing help to get through my own.
