On Sunday, August 22 2021 Rebecca Strauss went into emergency surgery for a brain aneurysm. They discovered the cause to be from cancer, which has spread throughout her body. Rebecca is currently in a coma on life support fighting for her life. This all came very suddenly with no prior health warnings and the whole family is in shock.

Becca is an amazing wife, mother and grandmother that has spent her life and energy helping her loved ones. Her husband of 14 years, Ken Strauss, is trying to hold himself together while they fight this battle. It's especially scary in this time of Covid where hospital restrictions are tight and family can only spend a very limited time with her each day. We are looking at a long timeline of care and recovery, with chemo treatments only able to start once she wakes up.
