Help Rebecca Hudson Rebuild - Marshall Fire (CO)

Scott Harris, 1/2/22. My sister & nephews have lost everything in the Louisville CO fire catastrophe. I cannot come close to describing the utter devastation and pain of this experience for all affected.
Rebecca, Forrest & Cody have lost all tangible connection with their entire history and everything of real, deep meaning. Knowing them as I do, I have then and now been always humbled by their collective, grounded consciousness. All they can articulate is an indescribable sense of loss for those things irreplaceable, childhood art, photos and accomplishments, the art and heirlooms that connect them to their shared history.
Their home and gardens were a personal creation lovingly crafted by Rebecca’s great style, filled with her personal creations. Everyone found their home to be a sanctuary of peace and beauty. This is an indescribable loss for anyone who was touched by this place. Lost forever are the gifts and mementos of our recently deceased father and others of great impact.
I’m in awe of their unselfish, lack of focus on the material losses. The trepidation faced by their immediate need to deal with replacing everything necessary to carry on living is palpable. It is hard to imagine the maelstrom of chaos needed to navigate the details required of the necessity to recreate entire life immediately, from nothing.
Their costs for restarting lives from absolute zero are overwhelming. Relief from insurance and FEMA will likely be slow and overall, woefully inadequate compared to actual losses.
Please, do what you can; pray, give, hope and share their story….
