On September 14th, our dear Rebecca, friend to many in La EcoVilla, Alegría Village, Tacotal and host of the Central Valley Ecstatic Dance, slipped on wet concrete and fractured her right elbow. She has been told by two separate doctors that she needs surgery as soon as possible that will cost $8,000-$9,000. A piece of her elbow has moved out of place and she may well need a metal plate fitted.

In the meantime she is unable to use her right arm, which means she can’t work (she works online building websites), she can’t drive (affecting her ability to buy groceries and complete life tasks), and she can’t play her beloved saxophone and share her musical magic.

Even with the surgery there will be healing time so this will affect her financially beyond just the cost of the initial surgery.

A group of friends, whom have benefitted from Rebecca's spirit and initiative in creating the ecstatic dance here in the valley, have come together to start a GoFundMe to raise funds for her surgery and recovery expenses.

We will start at $8k with a $10k stretch goal with the hope we can surpass that so she can really focus all efforts into rest and healing.
