Hello, my name is Rebecca Ann, and I am a disabled cartoonist and part time bookseller in Southern California. Due to ongoing medical issues from long COVID that have caused my disability symptoms to worsen, I have spent the last two months on temporary leave from my job, and am currently only working less than ten hours a week on minimum wage. One of the most serious issues I have faced is limited mobility due to a spinal protrusion on my nerves, leading to severe pain and inability to go about daily activities or even walk and stand for longer than two minutes at a time. I am hoping to raise funding to help alleviate the immense pressure of our growing medical debt, as well as to assist in paying my bills that loom each month I am not receiving a paycheck. Please help my family in reaching this small but extremely helpful financial goal so we can rest easier, knowing we are financially secure while I work with my medical team to get to a better place.
