Hello, my name is Rebecca and my husband is Matthew. This year has been a fun yet also unfortunate one for us. We got married at the beginning of 2024 and found out we were expecting towards the end of 2024. Now we are 24 weeks pregnant and having to do the impossible. Our baby boy is not developing the correct organs inside his body to be able to sustain life. Due to this realization, we are making one of the hardest decisions and terminating the pregnancy. We have spoken to countless doctors and specialists, and there is nothing that can be done for him. He sadly will not live outside of the womb.

We will be headed to Portland OHSU towards the end of February to labor and deliver our baby. We are asking for some help with the travel and expenses involved in this. We will be taking a plane to and from Medford to Portland and staying at least one night in a hotel before we are admitted to OHSU. We will be cremating him once all is said and done, as well as doing genetics testing for our future children. We will also need some help once back home and during our absences from work. This money will also help with rent and groceries while we recover from our loss.
