On April 30th, 2025, our hearts were shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of Jakob Justus Stallings. Born on September 23, 1987, Jakob was a devoted husband to Rebecca and a loving father to his nine beautiful children: Emma (17), Evy (13), Cosette (11), Eli (10), Lily (9), Ezra (7), Leila (5), Isaac (4), and baby Wesley (4 months).

Jakob will be remembered for his infectious smile and joyful laugh that lit up every room he entered. A former football player, Jakob was known for his strength, spirit, and most of all, his deep love for his family.

He was the kind of person who would help anyone in need—without hesitation or fanfare. Last year, Jakob bravely ran into a burning building to help save others. He also once rescued his young nephew, Wyatt, from drowning. These are just a few examples of his incredible courage and selflessness.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and to support Rebecca and her children during this unimaginable time. Any amount, no matter how small, is a blessing.
