Help Reba & Her (Surprise!) Puppies!

Well, friends. Here's the situation.

 

Our foster dog, Reba, was taken from our yard nine weeks ago. She was gone for just over 24 hrs. before we found her in a backyard a few houses away with three other dogs. Guess who's nine weeks pregnant now! We, the humans, only found out about her pregnancy at the eight-week mark. So we're scrambling to get ready. We're so grateful for the physical donations we've received so far (e.g., towels, bedding, puppy pads), but there will be some bigger expenses soon. Can you pitch in at any amount? Every single dollar helps here; it's literally one less dollar we're personally spending on a situation we did not at all anticipate. The Puppies:

Vetting and deworming @ 3 weeks

Vetting and first shots @ 6 weeks

Food during weaning

Misc. supplies (e.g., more puppy pads)

 

Reba:

Vetting at 3 weeks with the babies

Spay surgery so this NEVER happens again

 

Any remaining funds will go towards Reba's heart worm treatment. This is a big barrier to getting her adopted. Reba's had an awful life and still has the kindest spirit. She deserves her forever home too.

 

We've been paying for Reba's expenses on our own for four months now, including the most recent $300+ vet bill where we learned she was pregnant (she needed X-rays, fluids, and meds because cooking babies is hard work). We could seriously use some help at this point. We know times are tough and, to be honest, it feels weird asking for money for dogs. But, truth is, we need help. We need you.
