Help Reba Get Lifesaving Vet Care

My dog Reba is 7 years old and has been my loyal companion since she was a puppy. She is the happiest, friendliest, and sweetest blue heeler mix you could ever meet, and I feel so lucky to have had her by my side all these years. Reba loves going for long walks, playing fetch in the backyard, and snuggling up on the couch with her pack. She’s always the first to greet me at the door with her wagging tail and big, bright eyes. She also adores my roommate’s baby, Daisy, and treats her as if she were her own pup—always gentle, protective, and loving.

My family has always believed in giving back to the community and helping animals in need. My parents are heavily involved with multiple local animal shelters, including fostering, so we know firsthand how important it is to support animals who can’t help themselves. That’s why it’s so hard to be in a position where we need help for Reba now.

Recently, Reba started showing some worrying symptoms—liver failure, high blood levels, vomiting, and a lack of appetite. After several vet visits, we were referred to internal medicine specialists to help diagnose what’s going on. The process has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially, as the costs for specialist visits, tests, and treatments are adding up quickly.

Reba is such a brave and strong fighter, and I know that with the right care, she can pull through this. The funds raised will go directly toward her specialist vet visits, medication, treatment, and living expenses. There’s a chance she may need surgery, but we won’t know for sure until further testing is done. I want to do everything possible to give her the best chance at recovery, but I can’t do it alone. I have one other dog and three cats, and they all adore Reba—she’s the diva and top girl of our pack. We need her healthy and home with us.

Reba goes in for her first round of internal medicine testing this Monday 4/20, and the uncertainty of what’s ahead is tough. As any pet owner knows, these costs can be daunting, but I am determined to do whatever it takes for Reba. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us move forward and get her the care she deserves. I am so grateful for your support—Reba and the whole Vanloo crew thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
