Reaper is my black lab, and he’s been a part of our family for about a year and a half. He’s the happiest, most loving dog I’ve ever had—always jumping around, playing fetch, and listening so well. He knows how to sit, lay down, and heel, and he’s just the best companion anyone could ask for. Reaper’s joyful attitude lights up our home, and he loves everyone he meets.
Recently, Reaper was diagnosed with auto immune disease. His red blood cells are attacking each other, and his blood levels have dropped to a dangerously low percentage. Just a few days ago, his blood was at 5 percent, and now it’s down to 2.9 percent. The vet says he shouldn’t even be alive at this point, but Reaper is still fighting. Watching him go from his usual happy self to being down and sad has been incredibly hard for our family.
We need help raising money for a blood infusion and ongoing pet care. Every donation will go directly toward giving Reaper the treatment he needs to survive. If you’re able to help, it would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for reading Reaper’s story and for any support you can give.
