For over 15 years, AtmosFX has been bringing holiday magic to hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. We’ve always believed that, regardless of whatever is going on in the world around us, holidays are meant to be special moments that bring people together and to share joy. However, that doesn’t mean what’s going on in the world doesn’t affect us; unfortunately, it has affected AtmosFX in a big way.
The cost of content development increases each year, fees for our ecommerce, messaging, marketing, and warehouse platforms keep going up, and while many new opportunities have opened to us with great partners like Illumibot, BenQ, Showcase Holograms, and more, as they say, “it takes money to make money”.
We strongly believe in the future of AtmosFX and have new ideas that we’ve been working on in the background to bring digital decorating to our customers in whole new ways. You’ve seen some of that already with our partnerships with illumibot, focused on projection mapping, and the new Halloween Hologram Box. (Speaking of the Hologram Box, we want to assure anyone who has preordered one that, regardless of what happens with us, our partner at Showcase Holograms will ensure you see your new Halloween Hologram Box early this fall).
That doesn’t mean we’re abandoning what made AtmosFX in the first place. You can see in the carousel at the top of the page previews of the new ghosts from one of our upcoming decorations this year. And we have more plans that are still in the works.
Sadly, we’re at a point, though, where we need help to survive. The holidays are a very seasonal business. That means that the belt always gets tight at this time of year. This year in particular, though, even tightening the belt won’t get us through to the holiday season this year.
We need your help to bridge that gap in the next few months, pay back some existing debt, and keep the lights on until we can get to the busy season. These funds will also go towards completing the Blob and his ghostly friends, continue the development on multiple new Halloween, Christmas, and other holiday decorations for this year, help us set up a live action shoot for an upcoming special decoration collection, and support development on some exciting new ways to display digital decorations.
