I'm reaching out because I'm overwhelmed by medical bills, utility costs, and groceries after becoming disabled. Even though I work when I can—demoing Cutco and driving for Uber—it's just not enough to keep up. The expenses keep piling up, and I'm buried under the weight of it all. I need help to get caught up and to build a small emergency fund so I can breathe a little easier.
Recently, I found a new prosthetic company that offers a different socket design. My current prosthetic causes me a lot of pain, and I'm hopeful that this new socket could finally give me relief. If I could walk without pain, I could hike, run, and be more active again. I’ve also had back surgery to help with pain, and I have one or two more ahead. On top of that, because of my history with breast cancer, I need mammograms or MRIs every six months, which are expensive as well.
If I could get my bills paid and afford a new leg, I could finally have time for myself. I dream of hiking, running, and exercising to help lose weight and regain my independence. Your support would mean the world to me. With your help, I could focus on healing, being active, and doing things I haven’t been able to do since my forced early retirement. Thank you for considering a donation and for sharing my story.
