Hi, I'm Scott and I'm hosting this Gofundme campaign on behalf of my best friend Raymond to raise money so he can take a course on comics. Here's what he has to say:

Hi there, I'm Raymond Morefoul. Ever since I graduated high school back in 2017 it's been my dream to make comics. When I took and showed my portfolio to an SVA representative, they told me my art would be a perfect candidtate for the comics program. I had applied and got accepted but for private reasons wasn't allowed to go. I did get an education in art, one that I'm very proud of and felt I had grown a lot in but still felt that longing for making comics. In 2022 a little over a year after I graduated, I became disabled and now currently work from home part time in the education field. I have been trying my best to make art and make comics on my own and learn what I can little by little but still yearn for that academic structure. When I found out about this online course through SVA, I was so excited at the prospects of being able to do it over the summer and create a comic project out of one of the several ideas that I have. I understand that $550 is a big chunk of change and not one I have on hand on my own. Your support would truly mean the world to me. It would mean I could have a chance at a sliver of the education I have been dreaming of since almost a decade ago.
