Many of us here in Toccoa have heard the name Ray Scott/Ray Ray. To some, that name brings instant joy; to others, the name may bring frustrations, but none can argue that he has a good heart. We are trying to help Ray find a new place to relocate or help him get a small camper or piece of land he can call his own. He frequently visits local businesses offering to lend a hand for either a few bucks or something to eat, and on many occasions, just for company and companionship. We hope that by getting him into a more structured environment, he will have the opportunity to create a more consistent lifestyle with a steady job. Ray has helped us often by lending a helping hand, and we are trying to do what we can to help give back to him. I hope we can band together and dig deep into our hearts to help someone in our own backyard. No amount is too small to help us reach this goal.

As of now the camper idea is out of the questions, however, the land option is still there.  There are multiple contractors that have came on board saying they are willing to donate, materials, labor, services, etc to help build Ray an actual 1 bed 1 bath HOME, if we can acquire a piece of land.  Thank you all so much for the donations this far.  We are excited to see the community reaching out and helping with this!
