Help Ray kick stage 4 melanoma

Hello, Id like to start off by introducing myself and the fella I'll be trying to crowdfund for. My name is William Brown and I've created and will be monitoring this campaign for my dear Friend Raymond Bunton.

He and I have been longtime friends since back in our high school days and have maintained that friendship into our mid 30's as well as being longtime bandmates for the past 4 years, and its crazy to think how fast its all gone by! He's a goofy fella, always one to be a ray of sunshine (pun not intended), incredibly talented musician, connoisseur of fine music, sweet as pie and a total ride or die. In short Ray Bunton is a good freakin dude and I love him to pieces, but unfortunately that's not the whole reason I'm typing this because as some of you may know Ray has been in the past several months been diagnosed and continuously undergoing treatments for stage 4 melanoma skin cancer and I think we may be able to help him out in someway with this.

He and I talk just about every day so to inform you without too many details he had a biopsy from a mole on the top of his head back in August that came back positive as melanoma. That and the remaining tissue around the spot on his head was removed a few weeks following. Follow up visits would show there to be a tumor on his back, pec and a melanoma on the back of his right eye. He then began a treatment therapy with Keytruda for a few months and unfortunately was not providing the desired results in a good time frame so recently at this time of writing in the past week began a new infusion therapy (I don't recall the name right now) and were hoping it works out better than the Keytruda. To address the tumor on his eye he just had surgery yesterday (2/9) to start trying to reduce the mass that has formed. But there's more as well, today were finding out from the most recent PET scan that the specialists have found spots on both sides of the chest, liver and hip bone. These are the most recent bits of information and will update as they come.

With the shift in treatments and the discovery of new tissue things are about to be very, very hard for our boy Ray in the near future, there is a strong chance this will negatively impact his employment and ability to work and the medical bills don't need to be explained. id like to try and help him out at least financially so he will be able to afford to get the treatment he needs, pay the bills and help keep himself positive. I have not told him I'm making this for him so don't mention it please. Ill be giving him the keys to the account soon once we've made some progress. Thank you for looking
