Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re reaching out to you on behalf of our brother Ray Carmino, who urgently needs your help. On October 19th, a day that began like any other turned into a nightmare for Ray. While shopping at Awesome Food and Drinks Supermarket in Arima, Trinidad, he was caught in the crossfire between a security guard and armed bandits. Tragically, Ray was shot in the leg, and it has left him in excruciating pain, with the bullet still lodged in his leg and both his fibula and tibia bones shattered above the ankle, which will require reconstructive surgery.

Ray has always been the first to step up when others need help. Known as the most compassionate among us, he’s always been there for friends, family, and neighbors, giving his time and energy without a second thought. Now, for the first time, Ray needs our support.

Due to long wait times and surgery cancellations in Trinidad, Ray was discharged without the necessary surgery, with no new date scheduled. Each passing day without treatment increases the risk of infection and worsens his pain. That’s why, as his brothers, we’re doing everything we can to get Ray the surgery he urgently needs through a private clinic. With your help, we can ensure Ray doesn’t have to endure more suffering and potentially cause further damage while waiting.
