Help Ray Beat Colon Cancer!

On Sunday, July 6th, our lives were forever changed when Ray was rushed to Kaiser ER after continued pain and discomfort for close to a year. After several ER visits, Ray and our family were finally given an answer as to why he had been feeling sick for so long, and were sadly told that he developed colon cancer.

Ray will be undergoing surgery to remove the cancer in his colon, followed-up with chemotherapy to fully treat the troubled areas. Although our doctors and surgeons are very hopeful and ready to help, we know that this journey to full recovery will be long, difficult, and expensive. We are asking for community support to help with paying Ray's expenses over the next few months (rent, bills, medical costs, etc.) so that he can solely focus on rest and recovery.

Ray is an accomplished skateboarder and chef, born and raised in Oakland. He has given his best self to all of the restaurants he has worked for, and has been a dedicated part of the Bay Area skate and food scene for over 20 years. Our wish is to see Ray through this process of beating colon cancer, and for him to be back exactly where he wants to be: in great health.
