Earlier last month, my boyfriend Ray unfortunately lost his job, which was unfair termination as he was told something different before letting him go officially. He has applied to countless places, yet no answer or call backs after interviews; it’s been exhausting.

We have been struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, and food, and we’re now unfortunately behind and drowning in bills. While facing eviction if rent is not up-to-date by the 10th of June, we are stressing and worrying about our two animals also with us. We couldn’t let anything happen to them and don’t want to have to worry about what we will do with them if not paid. Ray is now waiting on a start date from a new job, but we are in need of emergency assistance, while our June rent is not paid.

We’ve reached out to multiple family service centers/city assistance programs, which were all unsuccessful, they are all full. We are now asking anybody we can for help by making this GoFundMe, which even feels out of place. Neither of us have ever really bothered or liked asking for help when it comes to money, however anything helps in our current situation.
