Hello, I am Raven, and I am a mother walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life. While my 9 week old daughter was being admitted into the hospital and later transferred to the PICU for a serious and rare medical condition, I was unexpectedly terminated from my job. This happened in the midst of her hospitalization, at a time when my focus was solely on advocating for my child’s life, care, and recovery. Watching her fight while simultaneously losing my source of income has been emotionally, physically, and financially overwhelming. My days have been spent at her bedside, praying, learning, and trusting God moment by moment, still while also facing the reality of mounting bills and uncertainty once we return home. I am humbly asking for support during this time so I can remain present for my baby without the constant fear of losing our stability.
