Hi friends my name is Raven Makenna Harmon I’m from Fayette County West Virginia! Anyone who knows me personally knows my passion for animals and that my dream is to own an animal sanctuary. So many shelters are code red meaning innocent animals are loosing their lives for simply existing. Many people run across strays begging for a savior but have nowhere to take them so they are left behind. My goal is to own and operate a donation based sanctuary for animals needing a safe haven. I will be pouring all I have into this coming out of my own pocket but will be praying for donations as well as this is much larger than me and I cannot take this on alone. The first step to this lifelong goal is to buy property, then fencing and comfortable kennels. I’ve wanted to start this project for years but was too afraid to risk the embarrassment of failure. But I decided I will try to make progress with this until I’m no longer here and maybe my baby girl will follow in my footsteps and make it something GREATER!
