I want to thank everyone who helped us in the past so we could extend my dog Bucky's life. He had lymphatic cancer and lived over two years after his diagnosis. That time meant the world to me. Bucky had bursts of energy throughout that two years with the help of his cancer treatment. He went on one last road trip to Detroit, we walked in the park near our house regularly, we moved into a new home where he got a dog bed outside to watch the block even when he was too tired to run. Bucky always loved being outside, he loved chasing his ball, he loved food and mischief and he loved people.

Bucky went peacefully in my arms outside at the vets office, surrounded by people and animals who loved him listening to the cicadas in the trees nearby.

After Bucky was gone, the bills remained. They amounted to about $12,000 after he passed. I've kept up with all the payments with the shared responsibility of Bucky's co-parent. I'm steadily paying over $450 each month. Looking ahead the final amount due in April will be $2,616 dollars. If I don't pay off the amount by then, $1,655.40 of interest will be added to the bill.
