Hi everyone,

This is really hard for me to write, but I’m reaching out for help today for my sweet boy, Raul.

A few days ago, Raul had a terrible accident and broke his hind leg. It was heartbreaking to see him in pain, and we rushed him to the emergency vet. After X-rays and evaluation, the vet confirmed that he needed immediate surgery to repair the break and save his leg.

The surgery was successful—Raul made it through like the brave little fighter he is—but the vet bill came to $5,500, which I had no choice but to put on a new credit card. I don’t have pet insurance, and while I would do anything for him, I’m now struggling to figure out how to pay it off while still paying my normal bills.

Raul is more than just a dog—he’s my baby. He’s been my best friend, my cuddle buddy, my comfort through hard times. Seeing him hurt like that was devastating, but I’m so grateful he’s on the road to recovery now.
