Help Raul Gabriel's Family Bring Him Home

A young Romanian student, Raul Gabriel (21), who was spending his second summer in Alaska, working in Anchorage, was in a tragic accident on DeLong Lake. He was working long hours, and it appears that he fell asleep on the paddle board, rolled over in the cold water, and drowned.

He was a very polite, intelligent, and happy young man. He loved God and was attending church almost every Sunday, on his day off. Always willing to help anyone and greet everyone with a large smile. Raul Gabriel was a bright college student, attending the National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest.

This was a horrible accident, and our hearts are broken for his family in Romania, who have just lost their son while he was far away trying to earn money to help them. He has five siblings who were looking forward to his return home in the Fall.

We are raising funds to help his family with the steep cost of flying him back home and the burial. Please keep everyone in your prayers!
