For years, Langtang Valley has shared the beauty of Rasuwa with the world. We have shared our mountains, our villages, our trails, our culture, and the warmth of our people. Today, we are sharing something different. Today, we are asking the world to stand with us for Rasuwa our hometown. The recent floods and landslides have taken homes, livelihoods, and loved ones. Families are grieving. Children have lost parents, caregivers, homes, and the security they once knew. And while immediate relief is reaching many places, there is another crisis beginning quietly. The children.

 A CHILD SHOULD NOT LOSE THEIR FUTURE BECAUSE OF A DISASTER.
Imagine losing your home. Then losing your parent. Then wondering whether you can still go to school tomorrow. For a child who has lost both parents or their primary caregiver, the disaster does not end when the floodwater goes down. Their struggle may continue for years. They may no longer have someone to pay their school fees, buy their books, provide food, keep them safe, or simply tell them, “Everything will be okay.” That is where we want to stand beside them.

OUR PRIORITY : This fundraiser will focus especially on children who have lost both parents or their guardian because of this disaster. We want to help them remain in school, have basic support, and continue building a future.

Support may include:
  School fees, books, uniforms, and supplies 
  Education and transportation costs 
  Food and safe accommodation Essential living and care needs   Counseling and emotional support 

We will work with trusted local people, schools, and representatives to identify and verify children and families genuinely affected. We will also look beyond the cases that receive the most attention. Because not every child in need has a camera pointed at them. Some families are suffering quietly.

WHY LANGTANG VALLEY?
We are not outsiders arriving after the disaster. Rasuwa is our home. We know the villages. We know the families. We know the people. And we know that when disaster strikes a small place like Rasuwa, the pain reaches far beyond what the headlines can show. Our goal is simple: Find the children who need help most. Stand beside them. Help them stay in school. Help them build a future. We may not be able to help every child. But if together we can change the future of even a few children, it will be worth everything.

We can help protect their hope. The flood will recede. The roads will reopen. The villages will rebuild. But these children will still be here. And years from now, we want them to look back and know that when Rasuwa was hurting, people stood with them.
