Help Rasta Jorge GO GREEN!!!

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Anne Marie and I'm fundraising for my dear friend, Rasta Jorge Campuzano, known by many as Dread.

I've known Rasta Jorge for over 25 years. He's one of the kindest men I know and has been a friend and mentor to me all these years.

This year, Rasta Jorge is applying for his GREENCARD after not having it for over 25 years.

Rasta Jorge has been in the U.S.A since 1980, coming as a refugee from Cuba. He's been in the U.S.A. for 44 years of which more than half has been as an unlicensed worker.

Rasta Jorge has not been able to go home for over 44 years. This means, he hasn't been able to see his mother or other family members there in Cuba.

Meanwhile, Rasta Jorge has been working to get his greencard for over twenty years. Massive amounts of red tape and difficulty with attorneys has kept him from legally being able to apply for his papers.

Two weeks ago, the day after his 65th birthday, Rasta Jorge got into a car accident that totaled his brand new electric vehicle.

Rasta Jorge uses his vehicle daily as an Uber and Lyft driver. Without his car, he won't have the ability to make the money to pay for the attorneys that will finalize his case so that he can be legal and can go green.

Let's come together and help this brother out.

When you donate to Rasta Jorge's GoFundMe, you're helping him:

• pay for the attorneys to help him get his paperwork finalized so he can become a citizen of the United States (it's been over 24 years coming)
• pay for any fees caused from the accident which was not his fault
• pay for his rental vehicle so that he can make money from Uber and Lyft which are his only means of income
• get closer to seeing his mother before she transitions
• get one step closer to freedom

This GoFundMe is important to me, Jon (my partner), Rasta Jorge, Kelly (his partner) and his family because it takes a community to make the impossible possible.

I have been there before in the past when difficult things happened to Rasta Jorge and he relied on the kindness of his friends and family to help him get through it.

This is another one of those moments.

Spirit sometimes places people in our lives to teach us how to be better human beings. Rasta Jorge is one of those people, and I 100% believe that he deserves the help that will give him freedom to travel to see his mother, freedom to be safe in his country of choice and freedom to be finished from the long-drawn out battle of the immigration process.

Let's help this brother go GREEN! A little bit of love goes a long way these days!
