Hello everyone, my name is Rashoda and I am asking for a help in hand for us to stay in a hotel, motel or something while me and my family are going through a hard time.

Today, September 5th, 2025, while we were away from our home, our house caught fire and we were told that we can’t stay there. Everything is damaged and has to be replaced. While I do have renter's insurance, we won’t be able to get anything from them at this moment and from what was told to me, we’d have to wait till the investigation is done.

Meanwhile, me, my husband, and 4 children are currently homeless, have no clothes, no food, no nothing, and we really need your help in this moment. If you can, please help us out with anything you can. For now, I’m starting this page to see where it takes us. I really don’t like asking for help because I feel like I am strong and don’t like handouts, but today showed me that I won’t always have it all. I need help, I’m crying for help.
