My name is Amelia Shay and myself and the 2Center staff at Phelps hospital are asking for the community’s help in relief for Rashida Tucker, one of our best PCAs. Saturday morning, March 30th, Rashida returned home with her two young sons to her house engulfed in flames. She ran into the house to try and save as many items as she could but it was too dangerous and too late. Unable to recover her belongings, Rashida and her sons lost everything in the fire. From sentimental items to expensive material belongings, everything was burnt and destroyed from smoke damage.

In true Rashida form, she was back at work the next day working a double shift while her family is struggling immensely right now. Rashida returned to work with a smile on her face prepared to put her troubles aside to be of service to her patients. She is always a positive addition to a shift and gives 100% to her co-workers and staff each day. Anything donated would be a help to her and her sons in moving on from this tragedy.
