Hello everyone,

My name is Rashid Agoro, and I’m sharing my story with hope and humility. For the past few years, I’ve worked as a DoorDash driver, doing my best to support my family and stay strong through life’s challenges.

In 2021, my life changed when I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Since then, I’ve lost my voice through surgery and have undergone several rounds of chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. Each treatment brings both hope and hardship — physically, emotionally, and financially. Even with insurance, the costs of care, transportation, and recovery have become overwhelming.Its been a tough Journey these past years , I wouldn’t be here without the help of families , friends and loved ones many which I don’t know and met in my life .

I’m blessed with a loving wife and two wonderful boys who give me strength every day. My wife has kept our family grounded through everything, even as we face an unexpected loss of income during this difficult time.

I continue to work when I can, but treatment makes it hard to keep up. I’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover medical and living expenses, keep our home secure, and provide stability for our children while I focus on healing.
