My name is Tanisha, and I’m reaching out for help after my 12-year-old grandson, Rashekk, was shot in the head just a few days ago. He’s a smart, funny, and loving young man who means the world to our family. Rashekk loves school, sports, playing games, and spending time with his family. His sweet personality and positive spirit have always brought us together, and seeing him in critical condition is heartbreaking for all of us.
My daughter and I traveled from out of town to be by Rashekk’s side in Minnesota, but we have no family here to help us. We’ve spent everything we had on travel, hotels, food, and transportation just to stay close to him. I’m disabled and my daughter is on SSI, so our resources are extremely limited. Now, with Rashekk’s injury, our expenses have grown even more—medical bills, daily living costs, and the uncertainty of how long we’ll need to stay far from home. We’re struggling to get by and have nowhere else to turn.
Your support would mean everything to us right now. Any help you can give will go directly toward keeping us together as a family while Rashekk fights for his life. We’re grateful for any kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for reading our story and for considering helping us.
