Peace Everyone,

My name is Jihad Abdulmumit. My daughter, Rasheedah Abdulmumit, has graduated high school with honors a year early and has a scholarship to go to Johnson and Wales University in North Carolina. She starts this week, but we were led to believe that the scholarship would cover ALL cost for this semester, including room and board, books, meals, etc. That was not the case. So, with only a few days remaining before the start of college we were hit with a $2,000 bill needed before she can move in and start classes. Sky-high college tuition impacts many of us and our children; so with that reality and understanding, anything you can donate to help us through this challenge would be greatly appreciated. Rasheedah is highly talented with many skills. She is going to school for baking and culinary arts, but she is also an accomplished artist and pianist. We look forward to her contributions from creatively and skillfully contributing to feeding the people, to cultural art to entertaining us with the best of music. But right now.... what a week of anticipation, exciting.... and stress.
