Help Rasha Keep Her Home

This is Rasha,

This is Rasha, a smart, tough, and hard-working woman who was recently released from prison.  Inside prison, she survived solitary confinement and other abuses.  In February 2019, she was paroled to a homeless shelter and worked her tail off in order to secure a stable rental property for herself.  She has been employee all but 4 days since her release, often working 2 jobs, mostly in fast food, at a time.

Recently her hours at Jimmy Johns have been cut and she fell behind on her rent.  She’s been offered a second fast food job that she will start soon.  But after she starts that job it will be nearly impossible to close the gap on the rent she owes on fast food wages.

Her landlord has been cool and cut her some slack but he also supports family who is struggling with cancer and hard times, and so he is facing possible foreclosure.

Can you help Rasha make up this gap in her rent?

It’s so sad that we live in a world where formerly incarcerated people have to struggle so hard to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.  Please help lift up this remarkable woman!
