My dachshund, Rascal, woke up on August 16, 2025, unable to stand on his hind legs. I took him to the vet and was informed he had IVDD and would need surgery. This surgery is $7000 and I am unable to do this at this time. He stayed at the vet for 3 nights on IV steroids, hoping this would help him regain mobility. Unfortunately, this didn't work, and I brought him home. He has no control over bladder/bowel movements and desperately needs this surgery. I would be so thankful if anyone could help with this surgery so he can continue to live a normal life. Please help if you're able to do so.
