Help Rasa Vitalia recover from car crash
Oh Wednesday, January 23, Rasa Vitalia was rear-ended by a commercial truck while driving in San Francisco. The impact forced her car forward, sandwiching it between two vehicles. Rasa's car has serious damage to its rear and front ends.
Fearing medical debt, Rasa refused an ambulance ride from the scene of the collision, despite being in a state of pain and shock. Later that day, her injury symptoms led her to go to the emergency room. She returned to the hospital on January 24, still in pain, and still feeling quite stunned.
The full extent of Rasa's injuries is not yet known. Also unknown is whether or how soon the other motorist's insurance company might compensate Rasa. Her car is likely a total loss, as the cost of repairing it would exceed its monetary value.
Rasa has been a source of great positivity in the Bay Area (and beyond), carrying the torch for live dance and music in a region creative people are leaving in droves.
Rasa uses her art to empower people and help them remember there is beauty in this world. Let's all donate a little money to help her get through this crisis.
